If you are completing a STARS Record as a transfer student and have had intermittent attendance at a college or university, follow these steps to accurately report your dates of attendance:
Start Date
Use the first month and year that you enrolled in a course at the college or university. This should reflect the beginning of your initial enrollment, even if you later took time off or attended non-consecutively.
End Date
Use the last month and year in which you completed a course, including the last month and year of any current or in-progress coursework.
Note: STARS requires a continuous range for start and end dates. It will not record multiple non-consecutive periods for the same school, so use the full range from your first to your most recent term.
