Before You Begin
Some universities allow students to self-report standardized test scores through STARS, while others may require official score reports sent directly from the testing agency (such as College Board or ACT).
Please note that each college sets its own policies for test score reporting in STARS. Be sure to carefully follow the instructions provided in your applicant portal or official college communications to understand what’s required for each school.
Steps to Enter Your Test Scores
- Log in to the main STARS website.
- Click the Enter Exams or Test Scores tab at the top of the page.
Tip: If you're logged into a university-branded STARS instance and do not see the “Enter Exams or Test Scores” tab, that means the university does not collect standardized test scores through STARS.
- From the Exam/Test Type dropdown, select the type of exam you took.
Note: Dropdown options vary by university.
- Enter the Exam/Test Date in MM/YYYY format.
- Select the Score Received for each exam.
- Click Save Exams to save your entry.
