To create a STARS Counselor Portal account, follow these steps:
Steps to Register
- Go to the Counselor Portal and click Register for Access.
- Choose your Counselor Type:
- I am affiliated with a high school.
- I am an independent counselor.
- I am affiliated with a community-based organization (CBO).
- Enter your First Name and Last Name.
- Provide your official school, organization, or business email address.
Note: Personal email addresses (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo) will not be approved. Please use your official school or organization email address when signing up. This helps us verify your affiliation more quickly.
- Create a password.
- Click Continue
- If you're the first person from your school to register, you'll be prompted to provide your school’s website and staff directory links. Please complete this information as it helps us to verify your affiliation and approve your account faster than if left blank.
Alert: You will not be able to log in until your account has been activated by ScarletCS staff (usually within 72 hours). If you try to log in before your account has been approved, you may see a warning message that says “Inactive Account.” This simply means your account is still pending approval. No further action is needed at this time. We’ll notify you by email once your account is active and ready to use.
