You are required to enter all in-progress and scheduled senior-year courses on your STARS Record.
How to Mark Senior-Year Courses as "In Progress"
- Navigate to Enter Coursework > Enter Coursework for 12th Grade
Tip: Update your Dates of Attendance if your senior year isn’t showing.
- In the Grade dropdown, select In Progress for any course that does not yet have a final grade. This includes second-semester and full-year courses still in progress.
Alert: Do not select Incomplete or NG – No Grade/Not In Progress for active or scheduled senior-year courses.
Missing Your Senior-Year?
If your senior year is missing from the Enter Coursework screen:
- Go to the Enter High Schools page.
- Review your Dates of Attendance.
- Make sure your “To” date matches your expected graduation month and year (e.g., 06/2026).
- Ensure your attendance dates cover all four years of high school.
The system generates academic years based on your attendance dates.
