After choosing a Subject Area for an international course or external exam, you will be asked to select the Course / Exam Content.
What to Do
- Select the Subject Area that best matches your course or exam.
- Then, choose the Course / Exam Content that most accurately reflects the academic material covered.
Examples: Algebra 1, Chemistry, World Language - If no options closely describe the course content, scroll to the bottom and select:

For Math Courses
If your math course combines several topics during the academic year:
- Select the highest-level math content taught in the course.

Examples:
- If a course includes Algebra and Trigonometry, select Trigonometry.
- If multiple areas are covered, consider options such as:
- Integrated Algebra–Trigonometry
- Integrated Algebra–Geometry–Trigonometry
- Algebra–Trigonometry
- Trigonometry–Precalculus

- Enter the Course / Exam Name exactly as it appears on your transcript.
For Science Courses
If your science course combines several topics (e.g., physics and chemistry) during the academic year and you received one final grade for the year:
- Enter the course twice by selecting one content area (e.g., physics) for the first entry and record the exact course name (e.g., physics / chemistry) that appears on your transcript. Select Semester for the course length and record the final grade in the first semester grade field. Leave the second semester grade field blank.
- For the second entry, choose the second content area (e.g., chemistry) and record the exact course name (e.g., physics / chemistry).
- Select Semester for the course length and enter the same final grade in the second semester grade field. Leave the first semester grade field blank.

Tip: Choose the most specific and accurate content descriptor. Use “Other” when no listed options apply.
