When recording a course or external exam in STARS, enter the Course / Exam Name as it appears on your transcript.
Formatting Guidelines
- You may use upper or lower case letters.
- Only use letters and numbers.
- Do not include punctuation such as:
- Apostrophes (’)
- Quotation marks (“ ”)
- Dashes, slashes, or symbols
- Confirm that your keyboard is set to U.S. English.
Example:
✅ ADV MATH 1 or Advanced Math 1
❌ Advanced Math – “Level 1”
Language Note
- The STARS Record must be completed in English.
- You may refer to a native language version of your transcript to complete your entry, as long as the translation is appropriate.
- For post-admission verification, you will be required to submit both:
- The official native language transcript
- The official English translation
