If you're trying to log in to STARS and see an error message that says your email address isn’t found, here’s how to fix it.
What the Error Message Looks Like:
Alert: “There does not appear to be an account in our system matching the email address you provided. Check the spelling of the email address below and try again.”
Steps to Resolve
- Double-check the spelling of your email address.
- Make sure you're using the email address you use to log in to your STARS account—not the email you use for your college's application status portal or another website.
- If you may have created multiple accounts, try logging in with a different email address you own.
- If your email isn’t recognized, do not create a duplicate account. Contact STARS Support so we can help locate your record.
